The Play's the Thing...

In no small addition to the development of new works, The WorkShop Theater Company is dedicated to encouraging our member artists to hone their talents by cultivating the classics.

Under the direction of WorkShop Founding Member, Charles E. Gerber, the WorkShop offers readings and productions of classical theatre plays, as well as classes and seminars.

Mr. Gerber has been acting, teaching, coaching and directing Shakespeare and the clasics in NYC steadily since 1985.

Will's PlayShop:

This bi-annual course in Shakespeare is Mr. Gerber's unique approach to exploring the practical, professional, and spiritual joys that can be derived from one of the greatest mind/souls in human history, for each individual, and the collective body of the class. The winter/spring series concludes with 6 nights of performances by the class in the WorkShop's annual Will-A-Thon, taking place the third week of April in order to coincide with Shakespeare's birthday!
